Greetings Travelers!
Its has been many Millennia since the LFGamer has been active and I am here to say I am back in a way. I have changed the format with which I have vented my gaming frustrations over the last several years and I am now becoming the purveyor of gaming knowledge in several ways. I have a Twitch channel, a YouTube channel, a Facebook page and profiles on most gaming institutions. All of which will be posted below. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long and Glorious undertaking that will lead to better times. No looking back travelers... only onward and upward!

The future of Gaming is now!
Now is the time....
If you can't handle the wait to see Morpheus... You're just like me. The future of gaming is not in mobile devices, xbox (they bombed this gen) or with nintendo.
It is in the future of Virtual Reality gaming in the home of everyday average consumers. Project Morpheus is Sony's answer to the Occulus Rift for the console.
Realizing full well that sony is the only console company concerned with what gamers want and not just trying to satisfy the status quo, you begin to see the bigger picture here. This is the real future of gaming.
“These days, we’re not doing much of the ‘you cannot do this’ kind of communication” with game developers, Yoshida said. “We used to do it a lot.” Sony was well-known during the PlayStation 3 era for having a heavy hand with game developers, rejecting games on concept alone, or requiring content to be added to them before they would allow them to be released.
Yoshida says that the process has been “much simplified” these days. “But,” he says, “you can make a VR game that makes everyone sick in 20 seconds. I think we need to reintroduce a bit more game design-side conversation with developers, if they bring in something we feel is dangerous.” - Wired Magazine.
"President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida also revealed a new prototype that will be closer to the final version than the one we've seen previously. This new prototype has an OLED display running at 1920 x RGB x 1080, which removes motion blur, and all pixels now have RGB sub-pixels.
Project Morpheus has a 120 hz refresh rate, double that of the previous version, and a low latency of less than 18 milliseconds. The new prototype has a 5.7 inch screen offering a 100 degree field of vision, and includes 9 tracking LEDS; 3 more than the previous version." IGN
Now is the opportunity to upgrade, rerelease and innovate on every game ever released as this is a whole new field people. Be ready when the storm hits in 2016!!!!

Evaluation time for the Guru here. I have spent alot of my life looking at the possibilities of what I can and can't do as the determining factors in my life. Not the what I "want" to do moments. I would love to travel the world and see the seven wonders. "Can" I do these this? Probably not. I want to take this time in a forum that apparently no one reads and vent the frustration I have that too often in the life the wants we have go unnoticed.
When I was a child there was only one dream I had. I wanted to be a paleontologist. I wanted to travel the world and search for remains of prehistoric animals to try and understand what the really happened before man existed on earth. I studied every book I could when I was about five until I was twelve. I learned every name of every animal I could. I absorbed everything. It was my dream. As a teenager, I had a very intelligent man I trusted tell me that there was no future in supporting a family as a paleontologist. That they lived off grants and never were home for a wife or children. If I wanted to be a dad or husband I would have to forget that dream. I threw it away.
Was it fair of that person to throw reality at me? Yes it was. But far too often we forget that what we wanted so much in life could have been our calling in life. It could be the divine gift we had. How many if us are meant to understand and comprehend completely the meaning of the catastrophic event that wiped out the dinosaurs at five years old and be able to explain it verbatim? Am I bitter? Maybe.... Just please if you read this and you have children who have a gift or a wish. Nurture it, and cultivate it. Do not squash it out of hand or destroy a dream because it is just a dream. That dream could be the next Einstein, Hawking, or Stephen King staring you in the face and you will never know it.
Be well,
Ryan

Diablo III
Greetings fellow gamers!
It's been a while since my last review and I plan on catching up on the vast number of games I have been playing in the next several days. But for now...
What I believe to be the best PC Gaming Launch in the last 10 years. (Yes It outshines WoW. BY FAR)
Diablo III
I did purchase the collectors edition bundle. If you can't go big, go home right?
Midnight launch was awesome at Gamestop. They also gave out a poster with the game.
The biggest downfall I feel that the game has is the need for an internet connection to play. All characters are stored on a Battle.net account. This means you are required to sign in to Battle.net to play a single player experience. Here is where Blizzard had a major issue on launch night. Everyone on the East Coast who purchased their games at midnight EST ran home to play only to find out they could not until the server went live at midnight PST or 3am. Then when finally able to play, a major game glitch was found withing the first 8 hours which took the servers down at least 3 times for about 4 hours a piece.
Aside from the major network issues with single player experience, I have to say I'm ADDICTED. I started by playing the weirdest character I could, The witch doctor. I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that you no longer have to click on gold as it drops and the new healing orb drops makes boss battles so much easier to manage. That being said, the game is not easy. Game play is as fast paced as ever and the first time you get swarmed by monsters in a very vivid dungeon you will panic.
The rune system and orb system makes the characters extremely customizable. I am eagerly awaiting to see how the real money auction houses work as the current system is only gold based and weirdly inactive. Also the Hireling system has changed and now they are more NPC's with a great story and personality. They are also able to be customized from weapons to skills. All in all a huge way to make every experience different for every player.
Overall I give the game 5 out of 5 gonzos
Battle.net multi-player experience I give 2 out of 5 gonzos with hope for improvement.
Be well and P0wn some Newb's

Batman Arkham City
Hello Again the cowl crusaders of the internet!
Today I plan on discussing Batman Arkham City.
The swan song for Mark Hamil as the Joker is by far the most emotionally satisfying of all of his performances. This game is out of this world.
The ability to travel around a portion of Gotham in open world to an extent is viably great. The folks at Rocksteady have really outdone themselves with the AI of the gangers across the city. The story however is short. The main storyline can be completed in one sitting if you are determined enough. I finished it in two afternoons at about 3 hours a piece. If you follow every side-quest it does allow for alot more grinding.
Making this installment all in all a good experience is the fact that after you have completed the storyline you can continue to complete side-quests and restart a plus mode to replay a harder version of the game. The challenge maps are great to increase re-playability.
The Catwoman DLC included in a new copy of the game is great. it adds four main story points to the game. However i feel that the new Nightwing DLC is worthless.Sold as a additional storyling it is only a few challenge maps and skins, a waste of 6.99.
Game rating
5 out of 5 Gonzos
DLC
3 of 5 Gonzos (NIGHTWING is a screwjob)

Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception
Hello my fellow gamers! Tis I Longfellow Gamer here again with a game review...
This time Uncharted 3!
In the past the key to playing a naughty dog game has been the depth of the story and the intensity of the movie experience. Again this is the case with the third installment of Uncharted. This time around drake's childhood is addressed and how he and his older, ornery sidekick Sully came together.
All in all the storyline is again the best in the business. The drama that is portrayed is in line with the trends established in the past with this franchise. The graphics have been upgraded to enhance the experience. Why fix whats broken?
AH but what is broken.....
Multiplayer in Drake's world has always been hit or miss. The customizable options are great the game modes and integration has greatly improved. All in all better but still lacking in the multiplayer experience of say the call of duty franchise.
The rating for this one?
4 out of 5 gonzos
Buy it, play it, dlc it, and trade it for others to enjoy.
Peace
